About the Crew

Captain Tommy Bennett has been fishing all his life. In 1971, he began running charter boats off the coast of Washington, including Neah Bay, Westport, LaPush, and Willapa. You might've fished with him aboard the Firecracker or the original Spindrift CV.

Through the years, Tommy has watched his deckhands grow up to become captains of their own charter boats and through it all, he's caught the fish.

Tommy and Nok married 2003. When Tom's not fishing, they enjoy traveling together.

Susie Christianson-Maxin, Deckhand began fishing on the ocean in 1978 in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, where she worked as a deckhand on a commercial crabber.

She owned a 28' Trojan, then purchased a 37' Owens, running around the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound for 8 years.

In 1999, Susie visited Westport and never left, working on reputable charter and commercial boats.

Susie holds a Mariner's License and works as alternate skipper on tuna trips.

Victor Fitzpatrick, 2nd Deck joined the Spindrift team in 2011.

Victor moved to Westport in 2009 from the Seattle area.

He joins us ready to assist in catching your limit.

Carol Henry, Alternate Deckhand grew up in Grayland, Washington. Her grandparents owned and operated Rainbow Charters in the 1970s, where Carol and her sister, Debbie, ran around as kids.

With years of experience on the sea as a deckhand and charter captain, Carol holds a Master Mariner's License.
